On 2016-6-23 I saw for the first time a “beautiful demoiselle”, a Calopteryx virgo. It could not be photographed therefore the link to wikipedia.

As in the last years, there is a crush of toads in our little pond. At least 15 toads have a their spring party. We prepared a 6 mins video showing them. The large styrofoam is for protection of the spawn since the nights here are less than freezing temperature.
Yesterday we took a picture of an cicada which is only a few mm large. Blue coloured ends of the elytrons, otherwise light brown striped. It is not to be found in the internet. Who can give a tip?
